If you’re in farming, you’ve probably heard of Figured.
Figured is a cloud-based Farm Financial Management tool that integrates with Xero. It makes budgeting and decision making simple through its easy-to-use interface. Farmers can track livestock movements, crop and milk production and keep an eye on their operating expenses.
Figured’s aim is to make farm accounting tasks streamlined so farmers can spend more time on farm instead of in the office–something that resonates here at LP Assist. Figured is one of our favourite business tools, and given the recent exciting integrations they’ve introduced, we thought we’d dive into what they are and how they can help your farm.
Farm IQ Integration
Figured recently announced their brand new integration with FarmIQ. Our clients have been requesting this integration for a long time so we’re excited that it’s here!
For those not familiar with FarmIQ, it’s a Farm Management software designed to bring all your farm information into one place. It can help manage rosters, check health and safety, monitor performance and review performance against plans and historic data. FarmIQ is also very popular with Synlait providers to keep track of their Lead with Pride requirements.
The integration primarily focuses on livestock transactions. Historically, FarmIQ users have entered livestock transactions into FarmIQ and then later come into Figured and entered the exact same data. This new integration allows livestock information to flow automatically from FarmIQ to Figured, eliminating double entry and creating a single source of truth. It also creates confidence in the numbers and saves time reviewing and amending data.
Dairybase Integration
Another exciting and much requested integration that Figured announced in July is their integration with DairyNZ.
DairyBase is a farm benchmarking tool that allows farmers to monitor performance against other farms in their area, to identify opportunities to drive profit and make effective decisions. Any farmer registered to DairyBase can set it up so that their production and financial data is automatically forwarded to DairyBase – anonymously, of course! This streamlines the submission process (previously everything had to be entered manually) and means that farmers can receive benchmarking data sooner.
Overall, we are very proud to be working with such a forward moving software partner that really values our farming clients. And don’t forget, Figured has non-farming subscriptions available as well – it’s not just for farmers!
